My Sporting Bucket List: Five Must Visits

my sporting bucket list 5 destinations to rrot root for the home team.png

I'm excited to participate in the Sports Talk Social Sporting Bucket List posting opportunity.

With opportunities like these, it allows for expanding our horizons to meet other like-minded HIVERS and great practice to create content and more importantly to help bring awareness and increase activity at some of our favorite tribes like STS.

I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and grew up rooting for the New York Mets and New York Knicks and somehow went off the rails and became a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan.

Ok, this post is not about that.

Ok, so let's get back to what this post is about:

"What is on Your Sporting Bucket List?"

I could post about 100 Bucket Lists pertaining to Sports, but for today; I am going to list the top 5 arenas or stadiums I want to visit(that I have not visited yet) before I kick the bucket.

#5 - FENWAY PARK

I'm not a Red Sox fan whatsoever, but the opportunity to go to a game at the oldest MLB stadium still standing and still being filled consistently has to be an amazing experience. It opened in 1912 and it houses a lot of incredible memories.

#4 - BARCLAYS CENTER

This is a no-brainer, since I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and although I am a die-hard Knicks fan; the opportunity to go to a Nets game in Brooklyn is a must. I have been living in Central Florida for a while now and have not been to New York much, since the move; but this is a must visit for sure. Of course, the arena opened way after I left New York.

#3 - CAMDEN YARDS

Home of the Baltimore Orioles and probably one of the first if not first Major League Baseball stadium that caught the attention of many when it opened in 1992. Honestly, not sure why I never just made the trip; but I'll make it happen sooner than later.

#2 - Citi Field

This one is a no-brainer. I've been a New York Mets fan since 1973 and went to many of their games at the old Shea Stadium and just like the Barlcays Center, the new home of the Mets was built after I had left and it would be a damn shame; if I never go to a game there before I leave this earth.

#1 - AT&T Stadium

Yet again, another no-brainer. I am beyond a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan and their new stadium is obviously EPIC and although the new SOFI will be hard to beat; going to Dallas and attending a Cowboys game would be an absolute bucket list buster!

I'll make sure to improve on my sporting posts, but this was definitely fun and hope I can continue to participate in this and other Sports Talk Social content creation and curation opportunities to do my part in keeping the engine running.

Thanks for joining in and giving everyone some good ideas possibly adding to their lists. I must admit going to watch the Dallas Cowboys at their home stadium may actually end up on my list at some point as well.

Nice ones.

So you seem to be a die hard fan of Baseball.

That Citi Field building resembles a building we have here in my hometown in India.

@coolguy123 - yes, baseball was the first sport I gravitated to; but NFL American Football by far is my favorite now.

Must be a cool building 👍🏽

Nice, Football has more fans than for any other Sports.
Somehow, I haven't got any interest in that.

Thanks for all those tokens :)
