Updates, Fires and Actifit for November 8 2019

Steady night at work, nothing exciting to report. Yesterday I spoke of the bushfires around my area. We are still completely safe, but a friend of my step-daughter was forced to evacuate and is staying with us for the weekend. She has no idea if her house survived, over 100 houses have been destroyed so far.

Updates.

@Actifit just roled out a pretty significant update, with a friend's function and some purchasable "power ups" I guess you could call them. It'll be interesting to see how they go. I bought everything available and stacked them on to this post as a trial run.

It adds another layer to the experience and revives interest a bit I guess. I mainly bought them to see what happens. I'd still rather something tangible, shoes or even some cool merch to spend my AFIT on, but something is better than nothing.

That terrible loss of house's hoping no body has been injured at least. The new actifit update may help things along I hope and as you say something real like shoes, sunglasses etc would be great and what I have been waiting for since the start. No much point throwing tokens around if they will never have any real value.

Sadly, 1 death and 30ish injuries reported so far. Also a massive Koala colony near Port Macquarie was affected a few days ago with hundreds lost.

Yup, still need some new joggers.

No good on the fire casualties. I need new jogger to mate hopefully soon they will get these types of things in the market as it's been on the he cards for well over a year now.

I don't know if people underestimate the power of merch or if it's just one of those things that can be unviable to set up due to initial outlay. For example I'd really love a ko-fi mug but they don't seem to merchandise either XD

We'll just ignore the fact that I'd need some generous soul to buy it for me as I swear every cent I make is earmarked, maybe one day we can all llve comfortably off steem? XD

Definitely merch helps. I like the look of the Appics stuff. I haven't used the App, but the merch looks like it is top notch.

Surely merch would be a good fit for a fitness dapp, caps, drink bottles, tshirts and so on.

One day... we can live in hope.

Cooler here today, hopefully that will help them get the situation back in control.
