My Actifit Report Card: November 9 2021
Haven completed Northgate project back in August, we are approaching three months and still awaiting payment from Huawei. Getting them to sign off was a mission just as it is proving to be a mission to get paid.
The latest complain is we didn't paint the antenna in Checkers the same color as of the roof.
While I feel that's unnecessary, at the time of installation the color of the roof was cream like the immediate top photo, today we went to paint the three antennas black like the first picture attached to this post.
A pain it has been having to work hard and struggle to get paid. The Era off Ericsson was better in SA compared to Huawei dominating the telecommunication industry recently.
Just venting my spleen!

It is frustrating with companies not paying, making every excuse in the book, what next they want it bright green?
Green are after all the colours of Checkers (and R10 notes), annoying these large companies are the worst at paying people for work completed!
In future request after quote half up front to help with cash flow going forward Joe.

Unfortunately since Huawei got a strong hold of telecommunication in the country they've been controlling things as they wish.
You can finish a job in SA and wait for someone to approve in China, it's that bad.
Paying up or some percentage of the quote is not an option, it's either you are able to get the job done and get paid whenever or someone else with capital gets it.
A tough situation in a time where ways of surviving gets tougher by the day.
Hopefully we are not asked to go paint the antenna green.
My son was approached by small business locally to join up with them, we declined since the customer base of pensioners is far more reliable with payments.
Even though not high pricing having discounted price for pensioners they are loyal, this has proven much better than bigger businesses where one runs into lots of excuses when time comes to pay. We have one or two small business who respect the terms of agreement.
Sadly business is no longer on a gentlemen handshake, completely cut throat in competitive greed.
Very true, bigger companies are just in to keep milking giving smaller businesses less hope of survival.
It's all about power and greed.
