Actifit Report 270921: Family Football Fun
A good day yesterday. I scooped up the kids early in the morning and we went to visit my aunt and uncle (father's side). Had a good visit and then had to head out to go to the market for the party later.
Taking Kids to the Grocery is a Gamble
There's a couple major things you have to be aware of when taking kids to stores.
They aimlessly wander around. They are clueless about walking in a line. You have to constantly make sure that they stay out of other people's way. Especially when turning around corners.
Another issue with their aimless nature is that several times during one trip they will inadvertantly walk in front of the push cart 🛒. Leading me with two options - stopping immediately to avoid ramming into them or teaching them a lesson and running into them. I would choose the second option but I don't want to draw the ire of other more responsible adults.
You have to suffer through them seeing all this shit that they ask for which you know you have no intention of buying (usually ever) and then dealing with the reactions of sadness and hostility because they didn't get something they wanted.
I'm sure there's more but these are the three biggest items to consider.
Then I Came Home and Watched the Cleveland Browns Destroy the Chicago Bears
I mean I guess I got some steps in going up and down the steps to get beer. Yay, we won!

Finished the Day with a Nice Birthday Party for my Aunt (Mother's side)
We had a nice dinner with the family. The kids played with their older cousins. That's the best part because we really don't see them unless it's dinner or dessert time.
Kids happily went to sleep by the end of the day. Success!
Shit, come to think of it, this was a recap of Sunday. I guess yesterday my steps were from work and the walk we took after dinner.
