Actifit Report 130622: The Park Times Two
So yesterday was back to the summer grind. No school to occupy the kids so i had to spend some time with them. I think I miss school more than they do.
To The Park
The kids get restless right after breakfast so it's important to have some fun activities lined up. It was a Monday so nothing exorbitant...
We went to the park by our house. Or first trip was cut short because both of them injured themselves on the swing set so we came home to get some ice and have a snack.
Break Time
They relaxed for a bit and i did some chores. We had lunch then i asked if they wanted to go back to the park.
YES, THEY YELLED
So we ventured back to the park. They rode on the merry-go-round, swings, and the slides. They did much better this time around and were content to play by themselves for some of the time.
We came home after a while and did some worksheets before dinner.
They had some dinner and i took off for work after my wife got home.
Back into the swing of summer!

Hi Elizabeth - The animal on the raft was an Otter. There is a rainforest exhibit at the zoo :) Its just this constructed pool toy for them to use in the exhibit. Pretty fun watching them scurry back and forth in the water.
