Siempre he admirado a los artistas y su increíble capacidad de crear obras hermosas a partir de su imaginación y su visión única del mundo. Me fascina cómo pueden transformar lo sencillo en piezas llenas de significado y belleza.

Por eso me encanta especialmente el arte plástico, y últimamente he tenido la satisfacción de visitar varios estudios y galerías donde he podido disfrutar de cerca algunos procesos creativos y apreciar las obras de distintos artistas.

En esta ocasión, tuve la oportunidad de acompañar a una amistad al taller de Leo D' Lázaro, pintor y escultor que tiene su estudio-galería en medio de la ciudad. Su espacio, llamado El Ojo del Ciclón , está ubicado en la intersección de las avenidas O'Reilly y Villegas, en La Habana Vieja.

Lo mejor de este amplio espacio es la sensación que provoca al cruzar su umbral, es como sumergirse en un mundo caótico e irreal, donde cada pequeño espacio parece tener vida propia. En un inicio me quedé inmóvil en la puerta de entrada sin saber en dónde fijar la mirada, de pronto me encontré rodeada de tantas cosas interesantes que no sabía por dónde comenzar.

Aquí se encuentra arte hasta en el rincón menos pensado, cada cosa es un motivo para la expresión creativa y me sorprendió encontrar no solo pinturas, sino esculturas, artesanías y grabados en cada sitio. Hasta el lavado (baño) es un espacio donde la creatividad se manifiesta.

En este sitio la imaginación cobra vida, y es fascinante ser testigo de este desborde creativo. Las pinturas tienen un papel protagónico en el taller, donde no solo se exhiben obras de Leo D' Lázaro, sino también de otros talentosos artistas que exponen sus pinturas y dibujos en este espacio tan singular. Es un lugar que está en constante cambio, Leo D' Lázaro no se cesa de crear, de mover las cosas de un lugar a otro para que nada quede estático y todo este en constante cambio.

Lo más emocionante es que sus puertas están abiertas al público, permitiendo no solo admirar las obras sino también ver al maestro en plena composición artística. Este también es un espacio para la comunidad, donde todos pueden interactuar y participar en eventos que enriquecen el entorno artístico y social.

Disfruté muchísimo esta visita tanto por el lugar como por la compañía. Fue una experiencia muy agradable, una oportunidad para sumergirme en un espacio donde el arte es el protagonista absoluto.

I've always admired artists and their incredible ability to create beautiful works from their imagination and unique vision of the world. I'm fascinated by how they can transform the simple into pieces full of meaning and beauty.

That's why I especially love visual art, and lately I've had the pleasure of visiting several studios and galleries where I've been able to experience some of the creative processes firsthand and appreciate the works of different artists.

On this occasion I had the opportunity to accompany a friend to the studio of Leo D' Lázaro, a painter and sculptor who has his studio-gallery in the middle of the city. His space called El Ojo del Ciclón (The Eye of the Cyclone), is located at the intersection of O'Reilly and Villegas Avenues in Old Havana.

The best thing about this spacious space is the sensation it provokes when you cross its threshold, it's like immersing yourself in a chaotic and unreal world where every tiny space seems to have a life of its own. At first, I stood motionless at the entrance door not knowing where to look. Suddenly, I found myself surrounded by so many interesting things that I didn't know where to begin.

Here art can be found in even the most unexpected corners. Everything is a source of creative expression and I was surprised to find not only paintings but also sculptures, crafts, and prints in every space. Even the bathroom is a space where creativity manifests.

In this place the imagination comes alive, and it's fascinating to witness this creative overflow. Paintings play a leading role in the workshop where not only Leo D' Lázaro's works are exhibited, but also those of other talented artists who display their paintings and drawings in this unique space. It's a place that is constantly changing, Leo D' Lázaro never stops creating, moving things from one place to another so that nothing remains static and everything is in constant flux.

The most exciting thing is that its doors are open to the public allowing not only the public to admire the works but also to see the master in the midst of his artistic creation. This is also a space for the community, where everyone can interact and participate in events that enrich the artistic and social environment.

I thoroughly enjoyed this visit, both for the location and the company. It was a very pleasant experience, an opportunity to immerse myself in a space where art takes center stage.
