My Actifit Report Card: July 2 2025
On this occasion, one of my main activities was to solve a problem with the water pump that I have in the basement.
I am testing this entire pumping system, to have it ready when it is needed most, and these days it is needed, and one of the weak variables that I observed was the suction hose, they changed it for a smaller diameter and it turned out fine until the suction itself made the hose contract and closed the passage of water.
I had to find a way to avoid it or look for a more rigid sleeve, in the end I opted for the most economical solution and that was to make an internal stainless steel spring to give it rigidity.
Find the wire, find a thick screw and start winding to build the spring; Once done, the challenge was to insert it into the hose, with patience and care I did it and the results were satisfactory.
