Many scientists have talked about the need to colonize other planets to live on them and in the long term avoid a tragic end to humanity on Earth, but this is not as easy as it seems, it is not even about achieving enough technology to be able to travel to these planets, but the main challenge is to find a planet that is not absolutely hostile and that is not a nightmare.

For example, Jupiter, our giant neighbor, this gas monster is 13 times larger than the earth and is covered in very violent storms, its famous great red spot, it is a hurricane that has been raging for centuries and is big enough to swallow the entire earth, but that is just the beginning. There are planets out there that make Jupiter look like a tropical paradise.

The one called HD 189733b for example has a very unfriendly name that is perfect because in this Alien world it literally rains glass, hurricane winds of more than 8700 km per hour drag shards of glass throughout the atmosphere, imagine being out there you would be torn and cut into pieces in a few seconds.

There is also WASP 12b, for example, its egg shape may seem funny to you, but it is a walking hell, it is a planet that is being devoured by its own star, it has such a hellish temperature that its atmosphere is escaping into space, creating a tail like that of a comet in its wake.

But the award for the most infernal planet possibly goes to k2141b. Half of this world is covered by an ocean of lava about 100 km deep. The other half experiences temperatures of 200 degrees below zero, the winds blow at supersonic speeds, vaporizing rocks and causing burning stones to rain down. It is literally hell made a planet.
