Chelsea Started On Winning Form ( Match / Player Review )

Even though we won our first match of the season, I must confess that we didn't do quite well. The Chelsea I saw today may have to struggle a lot this season if they fail to improve their game. Playing Kai as false nine wasn't effective today and shouldn't be encouraged. Broja should be given a chance, and I believe he showed great potential within the few minutes he played today. Thiago Silva still rules the back and am proud of the old man.

Below are some of the players I want to review.

K. Koulibaly

Koulibaly is one of our new signings. He played very well today but he overlaps a lot. This can be very risky, especially when we play against attacking teams. Thiago might be there to create a nuisance for the forwards but he is at the same time aged. He can't match the speed of the likes of Adama Traore, Mason Greenwood, Mo Salah, etc. Koulibaly needs to avoid going too deep, less he will expose the defense.

Kai Havertz

Kai didn't contribute much today. For me, he lacks the strength of playing false nine in a competitive league like the Premier league where defenders don't take chances. Tuchel needs to give Broja a chance at that nine pending when Werner comes back from injury.

M. Cucurella

I watched this young man with joy. If care is not taken, Ben Chilwell may have to give way for him. His confidence is something I love. He could have added an assist to his name today. I await Tuchel's next line-up, and I do hope to see him start.

Thiago Silva

I love this man. He showed that he is still the experienced Thiago Silva we know. Chelsea needs to have someone to back him up. He is old and Tuchel should consider that and limit the minute he plays.

Sterling

He tried today and I believe the young man will fit into the team easily. The only challenge I see here is that he still has that close attacking pattern of Manchester City that Chelsea isn't playing, especially when there is a false nine.

With the way things have started this season, dropping points is something no team will want to do because most teams are out for the title.

Blues is the color and Chelsea remains the name.

Not a convincing performance but it's expected. So many players played well individually though but it's a right step being the first game of the season.

Didn't have a great match... The new assignments showed up in an excellent way... Coulibaly in addition to the defense with his great experience... Stirling The team benefited from his movement in the absence of the classic striker.
Despite the new names and the possibility of others arriving... But Tuchel seems keen to preserve the shape and style of last season

Lol... Don't even think about the performance of the team. Gameweek 1 is always very crazy and getting the 3 points is always the best part of the game.

You know I can't say the same about me and my team 😂😂😂. It was a shitshow.

Sterling is in my FPL team. The guy will do well this season. Hehe
