My Actifit Report Card: April 30 2025
Hey there! Let me break down all the movement I packed into today - it's pretty interesting to see how active we can be without even hitting the gym!
Started the morning with my usual stretch routine right after rolling out of bed. You know that feeling when your muscles finally wake up? Pure bliss! Then came the mad dash around the house getting ready, which honestly counts as cardio in my book.
The commute to work added some steps - walking to and from the bus stop gave me about 15 minutes of brisk walking each way. During lunch break, I took a quick 10-minute stroll around the block to clear my head and get the blood flowing.
At the office, I made a point to use the stairs instead of the elevator (three floors up and down, multiple times!). Also tried that new thing where I stood up and walked around during phone calls - surprisingly effective for staying alert!
The evening was pretty active too. Did some house cleaning (vacuum dancing is totally a workout), followed by 20 minutes of gardening. Those squats while weeding definitely count as exercise!
