What an entertaining post. I did hear about Liverpool's win (I told you my hubby's a big footie fan) but didn't know about the following fallout.

I came here via Dreemport.

Thanks for always visiting, ma'am.
Liverpool got another man the sack letter. Football is a ruthless sport. None of the players who were battered 9-0 was sacked, but the manager who never get to step a foot on the pitch get the sack.

You're very welcome @mckane. I do enjoy the passion in your writing.

I was even intrigued enough to find out a bit more about Mr Scott Parker. It seems his sacking may have been to do with his growing despondency in his team's ability. When a coach no longer believes in his team, it is better that he goes.

Thanks for the compliment.

Mr. Parker forgot his duty. He took over a team that was - and still is - well run, and helped them to the Premier League. The owners cherish togetherness, but Parker chose to continually berate his team in front of the whole world. He didn't manage the situation properly despite the fact that he's a manager (part of his job as a manager is making the club look good to the world).
