As the trade deadline in the NBA is approaching there is a need to a roster change or addition for a team to make and that could lead into a championship in the end. And one player in particular which can put a whole club over the hump even though he is not an all-star anymore and that is Andre Iguodala.
Andre Iguodala currently on the Memphis Grizzlies now we know he's not gonna play for the Grizzlies he has not played at all for the Grizzlies and they also are wanting someone to actually trade for him.
But sadly for the teams that interested in Iggy they just can’t sign him because the Memphis let the league know that they are not going to buy him out. This decision makes a lot of sense because Andre’s value and service is really on the rise right now.
A lot of teams are interested in Andre Iguodala so contending teams will likely offer a high draft pick or multiple draft picks just to acquire him.Teams like the Clippers, Lakers, Rockets and the Nuggets are all just some pieces away for contention.
The Clippers could add another position-less and a genius defensive player in specially in crunch time, he could also play the point forward position when closing games with PG, Kawhi and Harrell and choose between Sweet Lou or Pat Beverly on the off guard spot.
Lakers is also interested in Iggy which they can put on perimeter offensive threats because they need an elite defensive specialists on perimeter which Danny Green is the tallest perimeter defender. Iggy could defend the likes of Kawhi and PG which the Lakers potential matchup in the playoffs.
The Rockets needed a wing player and defender, the best answer to fill that void is none other than Andre Iguodala. James Harden is known to be a no show in clutch time during playoffs, that role can easily take over by Iguodala which he shown throughout his career most noticeably during his time in Golden State Warriors consecutive finals appearances.
Nuggets is a young and yet contending team in the west but what they lack is that veteran’s presence that could also lead them and teach them how to play competitive games when the fate of the universe is on the line during playoffs time. Iggy as well could help the young core develop into a deadly lineup moving forward.
I am hoping the best destination Iguodala could end up with, which most likely end his career and pour what is left in the tank for a championship contending team.
