Game Highlights and In-Depth Analysis

Round Fixtures:

♜ JUST_OLA VS IAMCHESSGUY01

Game 1 Image

This was my first win in yesterdays games. I played White and opened with the Caro-Kann Defense. Both players were meticulous in moving their pieces and developed beautifully.

💡 Blunder: What gave White the advantage in this game was Blacks blunder at move 26. White's cunning move Queen to e7 change the outcome of the game. White kept mounting pressure until Black resigned and Black won the round.

♜ ODNOOBRAZ VS JUST_OLA

Game 2 Image

It was interesting having to play a draw against an International Master.

I plan was to play solidly from the start and avoid giving the IM any easy attacking chances, even after he berserked. In the middlegame, I traded the right pieces and avoided moving in precarious positions. The endgame was a bit scary, I just had to keep the king active and not over-push so I could secure a draw.
