Fawad Alam failed to select in test team since 2009 despite his decent performance with the bat in first class cricket. Recently he completed 12,000 runs in first class cricket. Pakistan former captain and wicket keeper batsman Rashid Latif compared Fawad Alam with great South African batsman Hashim Amla.
