Cricket’s player representation landscape is currently going through a drastic makeover and now two major talent management agencies, Insignia Sports International and TGi Sport announces the merger. TGI Sport, a sports marketing company backed by private equity and based at The Oval in London will acquire Insignia Sports International as part of the deal. Over the past decade, Insignia has become one of the leading brand names for top cricket cricketers in men’s T20 Cricket especially Rashid Khan, Nicholas Pooran, Jofra Archer and Sunil Narine.
The merger is taking place during an era where the players and their representatives are becoming more powerful in global cricket.
