Hallo zusammen,
heute sind wir mit dem Fahrrad zur Stadtbücherei gefahren. Am Himmel drohten zwar ziemlich dunkle Wolken mit Regen, aber wir hatten es uns vorgenommen, also haben wir es auch durchgezogen.
Ich habe es als Kind schon geliebt, in die Bücherei zu gehen. Die Atmosphäre, die Gerüche...einfach alles. Es war wie eine eigene kleine Welt für mich. Bücher habe ich verschlungen und konnte nie genug von all den Geschichten bekommen.
Vorlesen wurde somit schnell ein wichtiges Ritual für unseren Filius. Wir lesen ihm tatsächlich jeden Abend vor und können es uns gar nicht mehr anders vorstellen.
Mittlerweile kann unser Sohn auch selber lesen, trotzdem halten wir an diesem Ritual fest. Wir staunen täglich, wie wahnsinnig wortgewandt er dadurch geworden ist.
Auch er liebt es, mit uns in die Bücherei zu gehen. Alle 3 Wochen müssen wir neues Lesematerial und Hörbücher ausleihen, um den Wissensdurst zu stillen.

today we went to the public library by bike. There were quite dark clouds threatening rain in the sky, but we had planned to go, so we went through with it.
I loved going to the library when I was a kid. The atmosphere, the smells...just everything. It was like its own little world to me. I devoured books and could never get enough of all the stories.
So reading aloud quickly became an important ritual for our Filius. We actually read to him every night and can't imagine it any other way.
In the meantime, our son can read for himself, but we still stick to this ritual. We are amazed every day at how eloquent he has become as a result.
He also loves to go to the library with us. Every 3 weeks we have to check out new reading material and audio books to quench his thirst for knowledge.
Die 3 Fragezeichen... um sie kommt man als Jungs-Mama nicht vorbei. Es ist die erste kindliche Berührung mit dem Thema Spannung und Krimi.
Vor einigen Wochen war der Schriftsteller Ulf Blanck persönlich in der Bücherei, hat eine Lesung gehalten und seine neuesten Werke vorgestellt. Die Kinder bekamen teilweise das 1. Autogramm ihres Lebens und waren total stolz.
Ein tolles Erlebnis!
The "Three Investigators"... you can't get around them as a boy's mom. It is the first childlike contact with the subject of suspense and detective stories.
A few weeks ago, the author Ulf Blanck was personally in the library, held a reading and presented his latest works. Some of the children got their 1st autograph of their lives and were totally proud.
A great experience!
Habt Ihr auch so gerne die "Lustigen Taschenbücher" gelesen? Ich habe sie geliebt und sie mir von meinem Taschengeld gekauft. Ich weiß noch, wie ich voller Erwartung zum Supermarkt gelaufen bin und das Taschenbuch danach in Kombination mit meiner Lieblingssüßigkeit verschlungen habe.
Mittlerweile finde ich das Lustige Taschenbuch mit einem Preis von 7,99 € - 12,- € für Kinder nicht mehr erschwinglich und bin froh, das es die Stadtbücherei gibt.
Did you also like reading the "Lustiges Tachenbuch" Stories from Duckberg? I loved them and bought them with my pocket money. I remember running to the supermarket full of expectation and then devouring the paperback in combination with my favorite candy.
In the meantime, I find the funny paperback with a price of 7.99 € - 12, - € for children no longer affordable and am glad that there is the public library.
