Hallo zusammen,
heute stand nach getaner Arbeit im Büro, Mittagessen kochen und Hausaufgabenbetreuung mal wieder Gartenarbeit auf dem Programm.
Unsere Sträucher hatten alle mal wieder einen Formschnitt nötig. Besonders die Korkenzieher Haselnuss hat ziemliche Ausmaße angenommen und den daneben stehenden Hibiskus schon etwas verdrängt.
Die Jungs haben die abgeschnittenen Zweige als Dach für Ihr Hauptquartier eingesetzt, welches sie sich aus Ästen gebaut haben. So haben sie noch eine schöne Verwendung gefunden.

today, after work at the office, preparing lunch and homework supervision, gardening was on the agenda again.
All our bushes needed a pruning. The corkscrew hazelnut in particular has taken on quite a bit of size and has already crowded out the hibiscus next to it.
The boys used the cut branches as a roof for their headquarters, which they built from branches. So they have found another nice use for them.
Mein selbst gezogener Basilikum wächst auch gut heran. Ich freue mich schon, mit ihm leckere Gerichte zuzubereiten :)
Mit der Minze werde ich mir passen zu dem Sommerwetter einen erfrischenden HUGO (Prosecco, Holunderblütensirup, Minze, Mineralwasser) kredenzen.
My home-grown basil is also growing well. I am already looking forward to preparing delicious dishes with it :)
With the mint, I will serve myself a refreshing HUGO (prosecco, elderflower syrup, mint, mineral water) to match the summer weather.
