Another clean sheet for Alisson and Ramsdale

It's the big game for Luiz Diaz who made his premier league debut for Liverpool tonight in the game against Leicester.

Perfect night for the new lad?

I dunno about that, but I'm proud of his performance. Every touch he made, every run be made, every defensive duty he performed... everything was so thrilling. A goal tonight would have been a perfect premier league debut for the lad, but no qualms. More games ahead. He got a brilliant reception from the fans when he was subbed off at the 89th minute. That shows how impressive his performance was tonight.

Who else deserves a brilliant reception?

Jota? Fabinho? VVD? Matip? Bobby? Hehe... I can as well mention all the players that got into today's game. Even Mo Salah who got to play for 30 minutes as a second-half substitute still had a couple of clear-cut and half-chances.

Impressive!

This is the Liverpool we know. Hehe. Our fullbacks, Trent and Robbo, were also in full action, pressing high, curving in crosses and making recovery runs to do their defensive duty. What I saw tonight from Liverpool is a full-scale attack and defence.

Stats from the game

The game ended with 2 unreplied goals from Liverpool. Clean sheet for our backlines and Becker. Liverpool played 22 shots with 55% of it on target, while Leicester was able to play 4 shots with 25% of it being on target.

Long story short. Hehe.

Hats off for Liverpool. Like we all say in this footballing arena, the scoreline is not a true representation of the game itself.

Another EPL game was played.

While we gush over Liverpool's game, let's not overlook another interesting cracker that took place at Molineux Stadium. The game between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Arsenal was very intense. I almost thought I was watching a UCL final. Haha.

There are a lot of talking points from this game. The goal that was scored by Gabriel 25 minutes into the game raised a little controversy, but Michael Oliver didn't give anyone a chance to whine about his decision.

A red card was also stylishly given to Martinelli as a result of the double foul he committed in a row. It led to a double yellow card at the spot which subsequently became a red card. It's not often you see something like this in football.

10 man Arsenal had to resort to playing their defensive card throughout the remaining 20 minutes of the game. As expected, wolves tried to capitalize on that advantage. They tried to stretch Arsenal from both sides of Arsenal's final third. It came in form of massive pressing and massive attack, but wolves couldn't get the job done. No, discredit to them though. Credit goes to Ramsdale for being focused and on point in between the sticks.

That's it.

Arsenal got the maximum available point from the game albeit playing with a man down.

Congratulations to Arsenal and Liverpool for a job well done.

Funny how people thought Ramsdale will jinx arsenal considering the fact that he’s coming from a relegation streak! Man has turned out to be our savior!!

Hahah... That's exactly how Liverpool bought Robertson from a relegated Hull City and many people made mockery of the transaction.

Now, he is already an integral part of Liverpool's game
