Chelsea 1 - 1 Liverpool: Are you hyped for this draw?

The game we love so much is back again and this Sunday has been sublime from start to finish, all thanks to the beautiful game of football. After getting filled with a surge of anticipation for so long, I finally got to watch Liverpool's first game of the season and the game was filled with so much intensity.

Chelsea 1 - 1 Liverpool

That's how the game ended although it's safe to say that the scoreline didn't tell the full story because it felt like Liverpool got outplayed for most of the game. And, I'm saying this as a Liverpool fan. We need to do more work and get fresh legs into the squad because we won't always be this 'lucky'.

This isn't to say that we were awful. Nope. Liverpool did well in some situations. They had some moments of brilliance, but it's hard to imagine what will be the case whenever the game plan fails to work. Our bench isn't as good as that of a team that's aiming for silverware.

Take Chelsea for example; all the players they subbed into today's game are top players who can fit into most first teams in EPL. As for Liverpool, the blend of players in our bench does not exactly tick the box as game changers.

Fair play to the lads... Getting a point out of today's game sure feels good. However, it feels like we will be having a season that's similar to the previous one if some serious business is not done in what's left of this transfer window.

I just read what I've written so far and it feels like I'm having an uninspiring view about Liverpool's performance in this game. Lol. Maybe! It's still the first game of the season though. Nobody knows how the next couple of games will be for both teams.

As far as I'm concerned, I just want to see Liverpool thrive as we dive deep into the adventure that this footballing season has for us. Hehe.

For the record, my FPL team is looking like a mess already. Holy Moly!
