As a Liverpool fan, I've become so used to seeing fans get on Nunez's neck about being wasteful in front of goal. I don't make any bones about that anymore, as far as the chances he's bottling don't cost us any point. However, this Jackson dude is taking wastefulness to a new height. I just can't believe the amount of chances he bottled in the first half of that Chelsea game. He got Chelsea fans fuming while rival fans were laughing at his blunder. Lol.

The good news though is that he still scored the goal that put Chelsea ahead while heading into half-time. Brentford immediately scored an equalizer at the beginning of the second half, thanks to a defensive disasterclass by Disasi. Chelsea got in deep shit after conceding that goal until Wissa smashed in the second goal for Brentford in the 69th minute.

Disasi redeemed himself by getting Chelsea back into the game with the equalizer he scored in the 82nd minute. I wonder if Chelsea fans are okay with the 2 - 2 Draw they got in this game. Lol. They could have won comfortably if Jackson had taken his chances.

Tottenham on the other hand came late to the party;

Tottenham's game against Crystal Palace was a dramatic one for Spurs. They waited until the 77th minute to score an equalizer. From there on, they score two additional goals to seal it as a 3 - 1 win.

Nottingham 0 - 1 Liverpool

A winning goal scored in the 90+9 minute? Liverpool had me in stitches with the way they won this game. The feeling is electric.

It's always a pleasure to see ex-Liverpool players who are thriving wherever they go after spending time at Liverpool although I don't enjoy having them play against Liverpool. Haha. You can imagine how scary it felt to watch both Origi and Neco Williams play against us in today's fixtures.

The first half of the game didn't have a lot of talking points. It was a fairly balanced game. None of the teams showed enough hunger or desire to win the game. From a Liverpool fan point of view, my standout moment in that first half was the 1v1 save made by Kelleher when Elanga went for goal.

We had a couple of half chances in the first half but Liverpool didn't make anything out of it. Our build-up in that half of the game also lacked the sort of spark that's usually seen in Liverpool's game. Well, the first half ended in a goalless draw. Both sides can't complain about that.

In the second half of the game, the subs played a big role in stabilizing Liverpool's control of the game. We pressed harder and became more direct in our goal attempts until Nunez broke the deadlock in the 90+9 minute. The fans erupted with Celebration. It was a joy to watch. Haha.

Big shout-out to the Big Man, VVD. He set standards high for himself. We just expect him to give a superb performance in each game and he's been carrying Liverpool's squad for so long. His performance in today's game deserves some flowers.

With these 3 points in the bag, Liverpool can take a smooth ride into our next fixture.
