Man, Palmer bagged some decent points for FPL Managers this gameweek and I should be one of those who's chanting his name as I watched him score banger after banger. He even nailed a decent assist to Madueke who ruthlessly got the second goal for Chelsea in the opening fixture of this game.

We will talk about Chelsea's game and all the baffling drama we saw in that game, but let's first have a look at FPL.

I chose the wrong day to have Palmer on the bench and I'm already paying for it. The young lad bagged 15 points in their opening fixture of the game. Imagine having him as my Captain for the week. That would have been 30 clean points.

The other games are already underway and Watkins has already bagged 7 points after providing 2 assets in the first of the game between Aston Villa & Burnley. Below is the current scoreline in the ongoing EPL fixtures;

All Home sides are currently winning. I wonder if things will get dramatic in the second half of these games, especially in the game between Aston Villa & Burnley. Villa knows they will get the pleasure of sitting at the top of the table if they win this. Let's see how things will unfold.

Back to Chelsea's performance in their Away win against Luton...

I've already hyped the living hell out of Palmer and I'm sure he deserves that hype. He had the game or his life and he's the main reason Chelsea walked out of
Kenilworth Road with the maximum Points. Things could have ended differently for Chelsea because Luton had several moments of brilliance in both halves of the game.

I watched the game amid Chelsea fans and I saw how something that was giving the flair of an easy win suddenly turned into an uninspiring win for them. The final 10 - 15 minutes of the game were a hard pill for Chelsea.

Luton, despite being at 3 goals disadvantage and having a goal of theirs ruled out because of an offside were still knocking down the doors of Chelsea and they managed to get themselves into the game with 2 goals. It wasn't enough to get them the win though. It also wasn't enough to take a point out of the game, but it was obvious their fans loved what they saw from the players.

As for Chelsea, they must feel gutted for letting Luton back into the game. Well, the 3 Points are all theirs. That's pretty much all that matters at the moment.

That's a fair overall performance from the lads, but I still can't get over having Palmer in the Bench. Haha. I hope my Captain bags huge points.
