Liverpool 2 - 0 Everton: It was a Derby delight under the Anfield lights.

Liverpool has been shitting the bed for the vast majority of this season and I've been giving them an earful after each of their distasteful performance.

You lovers of this round leather game surely know how it feels for your Club to be a shadow of themselves. I really don't enjoy writing about their performance when they lose games.

Thankfully, the game we just played with Everton serves as a fairly inspiring talking point. We finally won a game of football after so many Draws and Losses. Haha. What a time to be a Liverpool fan. I believe so much in giving credit where credit is due. So, let's look at the notable events that played out in tonight's game.

Liverpool 2 - 0 Everton

It's always a joyful event to get the maximum points out of any game, but it feels greater when you get that in a Derby game against Everton. The Everton folks will have a silent night while all the bragging right goes to their Merseyside neighbours. Hehe.

It's delightful to see that all the front 3 were involved in the scoreline we got. Nunez got an assist while Salah and Gakpo got a goal to each of their names. This is the very first goal that Gakpo is putting on his name since his signing with Liverpool. First of more goals to come.

Our injury list makes me gutted every time I check it out. You can only imagine how excited I felt to see that Jota, Firmino and VVD are back on the squad. I'm looking forward to the return of Diaz and Alcantara.

Let's see if we can cook something up in UCL games and in whatever is left of EPL games.

Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop Or Comma

I had a little hope in Everton especially after they had an amazing performance against the league leaders. I knew the game was at anfield but then the hope was present because of how bad Liverpool have been.

Both teams needed the 3 point and it was somewhat an interesting match. The first half was not too good for Everton but I think they improved in the second half. Liverpool need to do a lot if they want to be back to their best form. Lets see how things go for their next game; knowing this Liverpool side, they can win a match and loose the next one.

Everton's new manager is up and running. He knows what the team needs and he's grinding out results. Despite losing yesterday's game, it was still obvious that Everton's overall game plan is improving.

As for Liverpool, I can't rejoice too much. We just saw a win from them, but we don't know how the next 3 matches with be. Hehe. Klopp and his boys have been in hot soup this season.

Lol, in Sam we trust. I trust Sam to always do the job when ever he is brought in a save a situation. He is still going to stress a lot of teams with their style of play.

Klopp and his boys have been in hot soup this season.

Don't you think its time for Klopp to give way for a new manager to come and take over? Like Zidane did with real Madrid.

Hmmm... That's a very hard pill right there for Liverpool fans to swallow. A really hard one. I think the major focus for liverpool fans at the moment is to hope for a very rich owner to takeover Liverpool's business.

The club will likely be sold before the end of this season. If we get owners who are ready to spend on buying players especially midfielders, we may still get a few years of high quality performance for Klopp.

But if a rich owner takes over will it really help? Cause I see the team has really good players but the only problem is that they are not clicking currently.

Let’s see how things go when the club is sold eventually.

Yeah. We have good players, but the injury list has been ridiculous. It makes you wonder what the medical staff have been doing. Jota and Firmino just had their first game of the year yesterday after being introduced in the last 20 minutes of the game. Funny enough, they have been injured even before World Cup. Same with Diaz.

Aside from injury problem, our midfield have been a big mess. Milner still plays for liverpool at his age. Same as Henderson. These guys did well in their time, but we can't have them featuring week-in week-out.

If we can to have all the squad fit, we may manage to grind out some fair results before the end of this season. The problem is that this season is as good as over for Liverpool. We will be looking forward to how next season will be for us.

Same here, I think they should be bench players now. Even though they play decently at times but the premier league pace is certainly a problem for some of them. Look at how Chelsea's new boy Mudryk came in and exposed Henderson or (was it Milner?) so easily.

For Diaz, am surprised he's still injured up until now. for how long will he be injured?

All this is really affecting the Liverpool team. Most people wont see it like that as we always expect that a great team will remain great no matter their problems
