World Cup Injury List: Which player will you miss in the world Cup?

I have been hearing of a lot of injury problems from top-top players who are supposed to represent their country in the upcoming FIFA World Cup. What I didn't expect was how long the list is. Jeezzzz!

The world cup will officially start on 20th November and end on 18th December. This means that even though club football will be paused for a whole month, football fans will still have a lot of interesting fixtures to watch.

There won't be a shortage of games on the big screen, but we may have to deal with the fact that there will be a shortage of players because of injury problems.

At the moment, the mind-blowing names that may well be missing the World Cup due to injury are as follows;

  • Sadio Mane (confirmed this morning)

  • Paul Pogba

  • Ngolo Kante

  • Diogo Jota

  • Reece James

  • Ben Chilwell

  • Son Heung Min (Yet to be confirmed).

The list continues...

The fact that Nigeria didn't qualify for World Cup is already a demotivation, but when you see the list of players who will miss this competition because of injury, it makes you wonder if it's a good idea to play the world cup by this time of the year when Club competitions are still on.

While the injury list is already terrifying to think of, we all know the level of intensity it takes to play in a competitive and compact tournament like this. From what I'm seeing, the worst is yet to happen. The injury list we may get from Qatar during the competition will b a really big burden for so many clubs.

What do y'all think of the injury lists we've seen so far?

Which top player will you be missing in the world Cup?

Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop Or Comma

Yeah. The list is that much and there is one more gameweek to be played in EPL before world cup. Those that already got an invite by their country will surely be careful to avoid picking up any injury

That is a really high risk. Epl clubs are playing cup games tonight and they have one more gameweek of league games to be played this weekend before World Cup .

I don't really blame them. They are trying to do as much as possible within their footballing calendar.

The fixtures in England will be really compact after the world.

I would have seen Sadio Mane donAfrica proud since our beloved Super Eagles won't be at the tourney.
