My Actifit Report Card: December 31 2021 - INNER JOIN

Under 4K today. It was warm again and a bit drizzly but I did take a walk. My battery was dead so I didn't take my phone so that's why my number is low.

Spent the day chatting with friends and playing games. Splinterlands season ended and no good cards this time.

Ate some of this delicious treat!

Worked on my game again. There's a public shoutbox where anyone can send a message to, and everyone in the game can see it. But we also need Direct Messages. They are stored in a database with data on who is the sender and who is the message to.

Well that info is in the form of an id from the characters table. The characters table also has the characters names.

If you want the sender and receiver names you have to Inner Join 2 versions of the characters table with the messages table. Maybe I'll drop the actual SQL in tomorrow's post. It may help someone sometime.

I don't have any resolutions, just planning to work on the game I'm programming and keep posting here with a goal of 50,000 Hive power eventually!
