My Actifit Report Card: November 2 2022 - Beggin' Frankie My Boyfriend!

(Edited)

I found a tag that I'll participate in today called #threetunetuesday. So the first tune is Beggin' by Maneskin. I have heard this many times on the local top hits radio station, Kiss 95.1 but I didn't know anything about the band. They are 3 guys and a girl from Italy and they won Eurovision last year. Some of their other songs I found on YouTube really rock!

The song Beggin' had a different vibe than other songs of the day, and I knew it sounded kind of familiar. Turns out it was originally done by Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons in 1967. I've heard it now and then on the local Oldies radio station.

While researching all this, I found out that the person who wrote Beggin's lyrics is Peggy Santiglia who used the name Peggy Farina at the time. Peggy was the lead singer of The Angels and you can hear her on their huge Number ONE hit song called My Boyfriend's Back! This is a cool Oldie from 1963. Clap along and dance too. Get that actifit number up!

MY ACTIVITY was a....

You guessed it, a night time walk! It was about 60 degrees Fahrenheit and I wore my light white hoodie and my black cap. The half moon was out and very visible under the clear sky.

Have a wonderful Wednesday!!! ❤👍❤

Yes, my mistake! I posted the activity I had achieved after midnight which is my "today" number when I should have switched to my "yesterday" number - that number was around 9K.

Begging You is such a classic jam. A tune that has been used in movies , sitcoms and even adverts. It’s so nice listening to this evergreen song again, nostalgia feelings!
