My Actifit Report Card: November 10 2022 - Comedy On A Not-Funny Day

(Edited)

It's been a day! We all see the state of the world and the state of crypto. Things are not well but maybe going through hard times makes us stronger and better. It's been said that you've got to go through Hell before you get to Heaven.

So to get through anything we need to define where we are, where we want to be, and the set of actions we will take to get from here to there. We put this in words and use that plan as our guide, refining it as new information becomes available.

Words require definitions that make sense and that we all agree on. What is crypto. What is defi. What is yield.

As a programmer we create words that we use to define what a variable does or what a function does with variables. We name things and define things so someone looking at our code in the future can easily understand what the variables represent and what the functions do. This not only helps others but it helps us remember what we were trying to do when we look at our own code in the future.

So words should have precise meaning. But its a messy world. Why do we drive on the parkway and park in the driveway? 😄

MY ACTIVITY wasn't much today. I just had time to move a but around my area and do some shopping. I almost hit 5K even without my usual walk. And then tomorrow that hurricane in Florida comes to visit up here.

Stay safe everyone. Be prepared. Have a nice day!

❤👍❤👍❤

Yes it seems hell before the heaven. Things are going worse but show must go on and our journey of life will going on till the rest of our life.

You were close to 5k activists but the 4.5k+ is also huge for me. Keep praying for good time for this world. Have a nice day

We all are experiencing the downfall of all Crypto prices go down but like you said it said we have to go through tough times before witnessing the better part of it. It is just a matter of time and I believe all will get back to normal.

At times I usually admire the programmers because of the huge work they always do around

That parkway/driveway bit made me !LOLZ English is such a bizarre language 🤣

I don't much understand why one exchange deciding not to buy another exchange is causing so much turmoil- or maybe I'm missing additional factors?

I've been trying to keep up with crypto news, but if it doesn't relate to Hive, I don't have much time for it now. Sure, I'd like to make some money in Crypto eventually, but it isn't my main motivator. I choose to spend most of my study time learning about web3 and how Hive works.

Which of course, has to loop back to everything else eventually, eh? I'll order us some !PIZZA while we wait it all out!

Lots of things people invent are bizarre. But that makes life challenging and fun! The sweetspot is somewhere between complete order where we know exactly what will happen next, and complete chaos where we have no clue what could ramdomly occur. The Bizarre part comes in when things are orderly for a while, and then the sentence ends with octopus. 😃

Anywayyy, the thing about crypto is that it is a story we tell ourselves over and over until we start to believe it. It's just made up internet money, but guess what - dollars are just made up government money. Nothing backs either. We're off the gold standard since 1971. We just keep playing the game with everyone else.

So it seems the way to play the game is to diversify into as many asset classes as possible, to spread the risk and avoid catastrophe if we're just in one thing and that thing gets nuked. But the players willing to play this game and take the biggest risk will use leverage and then if that goes bad, they will need to sell some assets across the board to cover the calls from the leveraged play. So everything is connected and the charts all seem remarkably reminiscent of each other.

Or maybe not; I really have no clue either! 😁

My main motivator here is to get exposure to different people from different places in the world in different steps on their life paths with different perspectives and ideas about how to proceed. I'm here to listen. Here to learn. Here to respect the differences. Here to see if some new info I receive can be integrated to my understanding of the world. And its been an amazing 6.5 year ride!

I'll contribute to laughter and the pizza party!

I looked around for a way to get some 29 cent Hive but I had nothing available to buy with. SO I just powered up some liquid Hive. I had it liquid for when Hive hits $2 but I don't see that happening in the next week or so. Might happen around Christmas when rallies sometimes reward us if we've all been good little girls and boys :D

Yes, that violent drop off was met with an equally rapid bounce, as often happens. I think we'll be staying low but as I said, year end or early next year looks good!

I liked the humor in this short. Clever and amusing. Yep, the pic one was excellent!

Dear @kenny-crane,
Hey, your support for the previous Hive Authentication Services proposal which expired a few days ago has been much appreciated.
May I ask you to review and support the new proposal (https://peakd.com/me/proposals/240)? It only needs a few percent to be funded and your support will certainly help.br>
Thank you!
