My Actifit Report Card: December 22 2022 - Metallica Wednesday!
Wednesday on Netflix
It's Thursday now but this is Wednesday's report. And yesterday I finally watched the first three episodes of Wednesday on Netflix. It's about teenager Wednesday Addams from The Addams Family franchise. She is sent to the Nevermore boarding school for misfits and so far she's looking to run away from it!
I like the show a lot. Many teens can identify with the theme of not fitting in and feeling like an odd awkward outsider. I like that she is a skeptic and doesn't blindly believe all she is told. She is a rationalist who does her own research and does her own fact based investigations without letting her emotions get in the way.
I feel that she would be a successful crypto investor!
The ending moments of episode 3 feature an orchestral rendition of Nothing Else Matters by Metallica from their super popular Black album from the early 90s. I like this version and the original but I must say that I much prefer the thrash metal songs from Metallica! Something like Master Of Puppets which was featured recently in Stranger Things, or Sanitarium which could also fit in nice with Wednesday.
Crypto as 2022 Ends
I'm seeing many crypto opinion posts in my feed here. Some say we should have faith in crypto, we need to believe in it. We're encouraged to imagine what could happen in some bull market surely coming soon when we all get rich. Nothing could stop us; we're decentralized and we have a strong supportive community.
Believe nothing you hear, and only half that you see.
This quote from Edgar Allan Poe is dropped by Wednesday. It fits with her skeptical nature and drive to investigate the facts. I'm with Wednesday! Don't be a Luddite but neither be a Pollyanna. Embrace the new crypto fintech but don't believe it's the perfect road to Utopia. Expect potholes along the way.
Luckily we find ourselves on Hive where we can learn and earn crypto without the need to invest one dollar! We can learn about the world and other people as we read, post, comment and up vote. We may earn some Hive and HBD if we engage with others. But even if we don't earn anything or our earnings drop in value precipitously, we can still have a beautiful social networking experience that brings happiness to ourselves and others!
Crypto in 2023
My goal is to acquire 40,000 HIVE POWER in the first Quarter of 2023. For $368 I could buy enough to get there today. I'm 97% of the way there. I also want to stack more HBD and use the interest to pay participants in my projects. There was a post today about a lottery on level 1 of Hive to be funded by HBD interest. I have a similar thing in @metarobots and some have already tested it.
I expect to be here daily in 2023, as I have for the last 6.5 years - reading, sometimes commenting, sometimes up voting, and almost daily posting. I look forward to whatever the new year brings, and I hope to see most of you here with me!
However the next few weeks are going to be busy so if you see me here less, have no fear, I'll be back!
My Activity
MY ACTIVITY was a visit to the food store where I did much walking and also took a flu shot in my left shoulder. Later last night I walked in the freezing drizzle while listening to music on my Bluetooth headband recommended here by @chinito who also reminded me about Wednesday on Netflix. Thanks my friend!

It's has really been a bumpy ride in the cryptosphere this year . We all can hope for a better financial crypto year come 2023.

I have not watched the series yet. Here we (those who do not have any streaming service) download those, but in the last months, internet service (which was already the slowest in the planet) has gotten even worse.
It's in my waiting list.
