My Actifit Report Card: December 27 2022 - Valley Girls at the Mall
Today I spent most of the day walking around, shopping and having dinner at a local mall. I was with my friend who is visiting and lives not that far from the Valley in California. As we shopped and ate at a great restaurant I saw many packs of girls walking around in small groups enjoying their shopping experience.
This reminded me of the opening scene of the iconic 80s movie Valley Girl. This movie stars Nicholas Cage as the urban punk dude and Deborah Foreman as the stylish valley girl. The theme song, Girls Like Me, plays over video of the 4 Valley Girl friends shopping at the mall.
If you haven't seen this cool movie which is essentially a modern retelling of Romeo and Juliet, you might want to find it and check it out. In addition to this fast danceable opening song it has a lot of other cool 80s music!

Nicholas Cage has been really doing his thing for more than three decades . He is really a legend (living) of the Hollywood empire . The first movie I ever saw of him was " face off " followed by "ghost rider" . Both were classics!
