My Actifit Report Card: January 30 2023 - The Very First YouTube Video

Billions of people have watched millions of YouTube videos. But there must have been one video that was uploaded to YouTube at the very beginning. What was the first YouTube video? Who uploaded it, and when?

The first YouTube video is titled Me at the zoo. It was uploaded on April 23, 2005 by jawed. Jawed Karim was one of the 3 founders of YouTube, along with Chad Hurley and Steve Chen. They started YouTube on Valentine's day 2005 and sold it to Google about 20 months later for $1.65 Billion dollars!

This first video is just 19 seconds long and shows jawed at the San Diego Zoo with elephants in the background. It now has 254 Million views and 13 Million Likes!


MY ACTIVITY was a walk on a warm humid Winter night. It was up in the 50s Fahrenheit. I started with just my black hoodie but ended with it off, I got too hot from the walk!

We as Bangladeshi really proud of him because Jawad Karim is a Bangladeshi YouTube founder and I saw this video 2-3 years ago when started my own YouTube channel.
