My Actifit Report Card: June 1 2025 - Ukraine Attacks Russian Military
Today I watched a few YouTube videos about the news that Ukraine launched a massive drone attack against Russian bomber planes, submarines and defense equipment. It is said that between 2 and 7 Billion dollars oof damage was done and about 15% of Russia's military equipment was destroyed.
This happened not many hours ago and my question is, how accurate are these reports? I guess we will learn more in the coming days. Right now I'll share 2 different videos from 2 sources.
This first video is from the Jason Jay Smart channel. This man claims to have been a reporter in Russia who then had to flee to Kiev Ukraine, and he is happy to report all the damage done by drones that incapacitated a good deal of Russian military capability. The video is just 9 hours old but already has 420K views.

The second video is from Cable News channel CNN which has been around for decades and is well known. They day that a mass of planes are burning at Russian air bases. This video is 7 hours old and already has 780K views.

There are probably a dozen or more other videos on YouTube about today's attack by Ukraine on Russia. This is widely reported and we'll hear more about it especially since tomorrow Ukraine and Russia are supposed to meet to discuss an end to this bloody war.
All we can do is hope that the killing and the destruction stops, and stops for good. The war has been going on for over 3 years and probably millions have been killed or wounded or otherwise affected by this conflict. Let's hope in the future that people (maybe with the help of AI?) can figure out how to talk things out rather than fight and kill each other.
My Activity
on this Sunday was average. I spent time with family which is always important. We have a busy week ahead and things needed to be planned and coordinated.
At night I was able to get out for a nice walk. It was very humid and hazy out there, with temps in the mid 60s so I wore the hoodie even though it felt uncomfortable in the damp environment. Still I managed to go almost an average distance and scored just over 6K on my actifit number.
Now we start another week and another month. Happy June!

Dialogue is better then violence. May we learn to get along better with others. We will not always agree but we can learn to love and respect one another.

It's difficult to believe what we often see in mainstream media nowadays.
They had trucks loaded with drones and deployed them in Siberia zone, probably the drivers were not aware, but yea damage has been done
