Earlier I talked with a friend in a game we both play. I remembered once when she quoted a line from Finding Nemo when Dory sings Just Keep Swimming! So after chatting with her I found that scene on YouTube and here it is.

Finding Nemo is a Disney animated movie from 2003. Did you see it as a kid? Maybe you saw it With your kids? Or grand kids?
After I watched that video and before I could do anything further, YouTube went right into the next video it wanted me to see, as it always does. This one was a Live performance of Kermit the Frog singing Rainbow Connection.

Why are there so many songs about rainbows
and what's on the other side?
The Kermit character was created in 1955 and was on Sesame Street in the 70s. Did you watch him as a kid? He has been a popular figure ever since, so maybe you watched him as a kid and now you watch him with Your kids.
I remember a song about rainbows and what's on the other side. Somewhere Over The Rainbow was featured in the 1939 movie The Wizard Of Oz and was sung by a teenaged Judy Garland playing Dorothy. Here she is!

My Activity
today was a trip to a doctor's office. All is well. Also a trip to the food store. All stocked up.
At night I took the famous daily nightly walk. It was in the 60s again so the hoodie was on again. I saw the half moon! It was pretty high in the sky and shined brightly to illuminate the path of all the world's kids. Let's go back to a simpler time when life was easy. Let's relive the good times. Let's provide good times for today's kids. Let's let them live in peace.
