My Actifit Report Card: August 10 2025 - GEEKOM GT1 Mega AI Mini PC

My Windows 10 Desktop PC is old so I just ordered a Windows 11 Mini PC with an Intel Ultra U5 processor with some AI capabilities since it has an NPU onboard. The thing is small. You can mount it on the back of your monitor. It is supposed to have a good cooling system so hopefully it runs quiet. If it runs hot then the fan will be noisy. I got the version with the Intel Ultra U5 rather than the U9 which was $300 more. I'm not running the latest games and I'm not doing video processing so I should be good with the U5.

Here is a YouTube video review of this little beast. Laurent has the U9 version but I think everything else is the same for the U5 one I ordered. 32GB of RAM and 1TB SSD, which should be great for my needs. The video has about 3K views and it's been up since March. He was quoting a $700+ price but I got it for a lot less. See the screen capture below the video!

At night I got out before the rain started again. It was humid but not too hot at 3 degrees Fahrenheit. I took a 25 minute walk and that bumped my actifit number up over 10K, almost 11. I like getting over 10K but it doesn't happen that often!

That Mini PC is too good for the price. 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD is good enough for most users. I hope the cooling keeps it quiet like you said

    That looks good. I've been using an old Windows 10 desktop PC as well, and still a huge CPU. Haha
