My Actifit Report Card: January 26 2026 - Boys Better! Beware!

I survived the ice storm. Shoveled snow and salted icy spots. It was a beautiful day today. Highs near 40 degrees; sun shining brightly. Family came to visit.

The night arrived. 23 degrees. Ice patches. Did it stop me from my daily nightly walk? No it did not.

Dress smart. Dress appropriately. I had 4 layers on - T shirt, sweatshirt, hoodie, ski jacket. On the precious head, holding the seat of my conscious existence - my brain - was a beanie hat with speakers in it, the hoodie's hood and the ski jacket's hood. A fall on the ice wouldn't steal my conscious creating ability. The brain was well protected.

I bluetooth the phone to the hat and fire up my everything playlist. I set it up for shuffle and I shuffle out into 23 degrees.

First song... I Love It! Fuzzy trippy guitars and organ. I can dig it. Walking along to the beat.

Song ends.

Song starts again. Same song.

Must be a sign from above or so thinks my imaginative brain. I am meant to listen to this song on repeat for the entire duration. Well I love it, so okay!

This is a late 90s early 2000s vibe if you are into West Coast trippy neo psychedelic rock.

This is one of several YouTube videos featuring the song. It has lyrics. All these years I would not have guessed some of those lyrics.

The official video from the Dandy's own channel has a half Million views. If I used that version I would have to add a nsfw tag. Seems this band liked to play their music wearing little to no clothes. In the official vid we see Zia McCabe's bouncing boobies as she bops and sways while playing the keyboards. Maybe it is not good for anyone to see what God designed to feed babies. Certainly not men. Don't be looking at that. Or do. You do you. I don't judge. I still love you and respect you.

Is this Heaven, or...

So I'm walking and I'm grooving to the Dandys. In my mind I see the original video. There is Zia. Seems innocent enough. I guess it adds something to the video and song. The song is heavenly to me, and Zia...

So I'm walking and thinking about Heaven. What will that be like? They don't tell us much about it, really. It's going to be awesome, we're going to love it, we're going to be happy, no gnashing of teeth, no tears...

So I'm walking and I love this song. I love Heaven! The song is heavenly! The song has played 7 times, I still Love It!

Hmmmmm.

What if it played for ETERNITY!

Could one get tired of the best thing in the universe if that's what was on repeat forever?

Could one get tired of Heaven?

Being with happy people. Being with GOD! Awesome, right? Praising and worshiping Him, for sure!

Hopefully I can keep my mind on that, and not look around to notice Uncle Louis isn't here. Cousin Terry isn't either. Many of my best friends didn't make it. Hopefully there isn't really that Other Place. I'm feeling kind of Sad thinking of them There. But wait, it's not me, I made the right choices! I'm good. Forever.

But do I stay happy or do I get bored, like in the first day or week? I hope not. But I mean, repeating anything over and over and over gets Old, doesn't it?

Well maybe Heaven is more like my LDS friends tell me. These friends used to be called Mormons but not using the full correct name of their church is a "win for Satan" so I respectfully say LDS or The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints. If someone wants to be addressed in a certain way, or wants their church addressed that way, I'm cool with it. I respect everyone.

So the LDS talks about eternal progression. You keep becoming more like God as time goes on. I like progression. I play video games, and I like to progress. Gotta Level UP! I like learning new things, gotta level up the knowledge! Progression sounds good to me. But you don't progress unless you're in the highest Heaven, and you can't get there without doing certain things in their temple. I haven't done those things.

But wait!

If an LDS individual is baptized for you after you're dead, then you are given the chance to convert in wherever you are when you're dead. I like that!

We don't have that in my brand of religion. You better beware and make the right choice here on Earth. But if Heaven is LDS Heaven, at least I get a Second Chance. If it is Islamic Heaven, I might not be let in.
