My Actifit Report Card: January 27 2026 - Almost 10K Today + Hot Mulligan
Today was a pretty active day. I did the daily stuff around the house that we all have to do. I made a post on the @pepegame account with good news on a new feature - card pack rewards. Everyone loves rewards! It makes out brains tingle.
At night I took a long walk with running in it as well. I run in the up hill parts of my route. It turns the exercise into HIIT which is supposed to be quite good for you.
What do you think about High Intensity Interval Training? HIIT is when you're working out at a normal pace and then for 1 to 3 minutes you really ramp it up. Get that heart beating fast and get the breathing fast too. Get almost out of breath. This is supposed to tax your body and make it think it needs to build itself up for future exertion like this.
Well I like it, and I have been doing it for a while. Today I almost hit 10K. I think I'll do some 10+K days once the middle of the Winter passes. It's not easy being outside in this freezing icy weather!
Hot Mulligan
A relative is a fan of this band. I did not know of them so I went to YouTube to find some of their music videos. They are kind of unique but also kind of familiar. They are some sort of emo mid-west rock band. So let's see one of their works.

My relative says they give their songs weird names that have nothing to do with the lyrics. Interesting, in a strange way. I like strange ways and Strange Days, sometimes.
The people right near the band are all singing and kind of dancing to the tune which they all seem to know very well. I like that kind of thing too.
The music is okay. Maybe I need to hear some more of this band to get used to their sound.

Hm as training I prefer a steady going then increase little day by day, imho works better for the body
I like HIIT training, I do a version of it calisthenics for some of my weekly workouts.
