The Land of the Ice and Snow

Well another weekend, another Winter storm. Last weekend it was ice and this one is supposed to be snow. Nothing yet but it's supposed to start in a few hours and snow for most of the day. The forecast is 3 to 7 inches which is a big deal in these parts.

I walked in the afternoon today. I walked to the community pool of a nearby community and thought that in 5 months I'll be swimming again.

So with this Ice and Snow scenario on my mind, an old rockin' song comes to mind and Robert Plant is singing about the land of the ice and snow in their one AM radio hit Immigrant Song. I found a Live video of Led Zeppelin on their YouTube channel and it has 124 Million views!

    Don't let the ice and snow get you too much, that pool is only five months away from nice warm water! That's why I moved to southern California in the first place, to escape that white stuff. Although now I'm thinking it may be time to move to Florida to escape all the high taxes here...

    Awesome song, "Immigrant Song" is one choice you can't get wrong!
