On this holiday of love I am reminded of the time I sang this oldie love song to my girl, on New Years Eve!
We were at a wild party with a crazy playlist of loud music going all night and into the morning. This song came on, and I happen to know the words. So I got down on one knee and sang it to her. Ya boi Kenny can be romantic at times! 😍😘❤️
It's No Secret - Jefferson Airplane
Some people may remember White Rabbit and Somebody To Love from the Jefferson Airplane. Well those tunes were from their second album. And by then their singer was Grace Slick. What a voice! One of the great female Rockers!
But when the first Jefferson Airplane album came out, the female singer of JA was Signe Anderson. Grace had her own band, The Great Society.
Signe had a kid and didn't wanna tour anymore, so they invited Grace to switch teams and she did.
And guess what?
She brought along the 2 most popular songs from The Great Society - White Rabbit and Somebody To Love! So ya, the songs you may remember are cover tunes, but with the same singer.
Anyway, to me, It's No Secret is the stand out tune from Jefferson Airplane Takes Off from 1966. Marty Balin is singing his heart out! The guitars are rockin' the instrumental track and he is rising way above them.

was a lot of random movements and exercise snacks. I had some energy today!
At night I took my normal walk. It was nearly freezing but the ski jacket handled it. And I managed nearly 13K! Give it up for me! :D
