Hakuna Matata - The Lion King

This evening I was at a family gathering and The Disney Channel was on in the background, playing a movie called The Lion King. It looked different than I remember it and someone said it was a remake. I remember the 90s version.

Here is the Hakuna Matata ("no worries") scene from this 2019 The Lion King remake. It has 1.4 Million views.

So this 2019 remake is done in photo realistic computer graphics. The original was a regular cartoon. You can see the difference if you compare the video above, from the 2019 remake, with this video of animals singing Wimoweh (The Lion Sleeps Tonight) in the original.

Seems it was originally written in 1939 by Solomon Linda in South Africa and was titled Mbube which means Lion. Read the wikipedia article if you want the rest of the story!

was a lot of indoor moving around mainly doing house chores and helping the family in various ways. I did manage to break 10K which was my goal. In fact I got over 11K.

    That's the live action of The Lion King. I haven't seen it yet, though I love the 1990s animated version

    I'll always choose the classic lion king anyway. I feel somethings don't need remixes, they are just perfect as they simply are !
