The Premier League no longer in Arsenal's hands

Arsenal has drawn their third game in a row, with the most recent against relegation-threatened Southampton. This leaves Manchester City in control of the title race.

An atrocious error by Aaron Ramsdale gave Carlos Alcaraz the opening goal in the first minute and things got worse when Theo Walcott doubled the visitors' lead after just 14 minutes.

Read that again, Theo Walcott scored against Arsenal at the Emirates, in the 14th minute. Poetic isn't it?
I'm glad he didn't celebrate his goal. A true gunner ❤️

Arsenal struggled to get back in the game, and Gabriel Martinelli scored one (assisted by Saka), but Southampton scored a third goal in the second half and hopes of a win for Arsenal was gone.

Arsenal scored twice in the final few minutes but could only draw 3-3 with Southampton as they let two more crucial points slip away in the Premier League title race.

Martin Odegaard put one in with a curled finish two minutes from time, before Bukayo Saka made it 3-3 in the 90th minute.

Eight minutes were added at stoppage time, but they couldn't find a way through, with Leandro Trossard coming closest when his shot clipped the crossbar.

PERFORMANCES

Personally, I'd say Ramsdale cost us the game. Gave Southampton a free goal and we started the game trailing.

Fabio Vieira had no impact the entire game. Arteta made the right call replacing him with Trossard although he shouldn't have started ahead of him to begin with.

Martin Odegaard ghosted a bit, but he helped us grab a point before the final whistle.

Gabriel Martinelli put up a good performance, and kickstarted the comeback.

Bukayo Saka provided an assist and it's good to see him back up after the penalty he missed against West Ham. Scored the equalizer to level the game.

Gabriel Jesus missed some chances, and I'll like to see Trossard start ahead of him against Manchester City.

ALL TO PLAY FOR AT THE ETIHAD

Arsenal will face Manchester City on Wednesday in a game that will likely decide who wins the Premier League this season.
Truth be told, we'll get butchered. At least that's what I think. Manchester City are in spectacular form both in the Premier League and in the Champions League. They have an easier run of games till the end of the season and the pressure is on Arsenal.

City winning Arsenal and their other outstanding games puts them four points above us. Given their current form, that's my prediction.
Even if Arsenal wins, which is highly unlikely, there's a chance that we'll fumble one or two of the remaining games like we did with Liverpool, West Ham, and Southampton. I don't have my hopes up, because I know how this ends, and that's with Man City lifting the title.

This is the definition of bottling.

I hope this jinx works and Arsenal wins the League 😏
