My Actifit Ulog: 22 September 2021 - Day 9 of my 100 days of recovery

Hey everyone! Happy Wednesday to all of you! Phew we are half way through the week and I am alraedy exhousted. I am so ready for Friday and the weekend. Is that bad? Lately I have thinking quite a bit about how much I am looking forward to the last 3 days of the week and missing out on the 4 earlier days in the week? Yes, work is really getting to me and today, it was announced that my office would reopen next Monday and we would all head back to the office instead of working from home. Anyway, that is a story for another day...

My activity took a small plunge today as I was so tired, but I made sure to take my little Chapati to the park. I wanted to get him off the computer and breathing in some fresh air after half a day in online classes. He cycled whilst I walked as usual.

We chatted a little bit and headed to towards the park. Once, again my mind wandered and I realised how I was going to miss these little precious times with my children once I head back to the office. I would be up way before they wake up and I would reach home around 7 or 8 pm due to traffic and general work culture. I am going to miss my children so much.

Maybe I just need time to get used to change again, but it I am starting to feel more and more that exchanging my time for my current work may not be something that I feel is worth it anymore. Don't get me wrong, I am grateful that I have a job that pays me well during this tough times, I am grateful for my team and the people that I work with...I am grateful that I can do my job and do it well...

I wonder if a good night's rest would change the way that I feel. They say that lack of sleep can cause a lot of havoc in you and I am so ready for bed tonight.

So I managed to only get in 5,969 steps today. I really am so impressed by all the people on Actifit who manage to do 20-30k steps! That is just so incredible. I struggle to get to 10k. Today is one one of those days that I feel, I have taken 1 step forward but 2 steps back kind of day. I also don't feel like my knee is getting stronger and better but I just have to keep reminding myself that these things take time.
