Actifit Ulog - 9 October 2021 - Day 26 of my 100 days of recovery

Hey everyone HAPPY SATURDAY! I am just so happy that I am well and truly into the weekend! I love Saturdays as I wake up and leisurely take out my Moka Pot and brew a pot of fresh coffee while chillin to Saturday Jazz/Bossanova youtube videos. Ahh...this is the life...

After breakfast we decided to go and pick up little Murtabak's new bicycle as his baby one was a hand me down from his brother and has seen much better days. The chain keeps coming off and Bolt our Husky literally ate his seat sponge. Plus he is getting a little too big for the bicycle. We also thought that it would be really nice for all of us to be able to cycle for longer. His little wheels just cannot keep up with our bicycles when we head to the park.
So excited as the shop staff was getting his bike out of the box

Yup he was pretty excited, we got there and they took out his brand new bike from the box and proceeded to assemble it. Even Chapati was excited!

Waiting for the shop staff to grab his tools and assemble the bike

Nearly there...almost done...he watched the whole process very intensely. LOL

Once it was done, they both just couldn't wait to try it out. Unfortunately the bicycle shop is literally right next to a major main road. So we promptly popped it at the back of the truck and sped home.

All smiles!

He let his brother try it out too

They boys tried it out for a short while before we decided that we would go for an early dinner and try to get Chapati his new sports shoes from Decathlon. I also wanted to get some new ankle and knee guards so that I could use it more frequently in my daily exercise routine.

Yup, shopping always help with the step count I did much better today compared to the last three days. Plus, I have to walk up and down at least 3-4 flight of escalators which not turn on due to the lack of people in the mall. I must say that coming down the stair is getting easier as the day goes by and I am looking forward to my knee being less stiff on a day to day basis.

I would seriously recommend Decathlon's range of their support products. They have the whole range of ankle, knee, wrist, elbow and even spine/lumber support products which are really good quality and value for money. Being a sports person, I have been buying a lot of these items and these are really good compared to the majority that I have recently purchased from the pharmacy. Price wise, they range from RM15 to 99 for depending on the type of support that you need. I bought my ankle guard for RM 19 and my knee guard for RM 29. These are going to help me get stronger!

My ankle and knee guard

Great quality for the price

We are going to try out the new bicycle bright and early tomorrow so I need to head to bed now. I hope your Saturday was awesome!

Till tomorrow!
