My Actifit Ulog : 11 October 2021 - Day 28 of my 100 days of recovery

We stopped to take a selfie and then I walked up and down the stairs to strengthen my knee. Today was hard and my knee was hurting.🥲

Mondays, Mondays please go away, come again another day...yes I feel like singing the childish little nursery rhyme of "rain, rain go away...."

The beginning of a new quarter is always extremely busy and this is only our second week back to the office after spending 4 months in lockdown at home. There are sales targets to put together and appraisals to get through. Then this coming Thursday is our quarterly workshop where we recognise the good performers from last quarter and plan for the final quarter of this year.

Yes, today I was busy running around the office and the silver lining for a Monday was that today, we had quite a few new joiners for the company. It feels really good to have more people to help and work it. Instantly the energy in the office changed! We added 6 new people today and we have 1 more coming tomorrow.

The day passed pretty quickly due to all the things that I had to get done and before I knew it, the clock was just ticking 7 pm. I quickly rushed to pack up and come home because we had decided to go for daily night cycle rides with the kiddos for exercise. Both of them got their new bicycles and Hubby is also getting into the groove of getting fitter and healthier.

Lately after talking to a friend, I started taking two tablespoons of milled chia seeds with water in the morning. The regiment was to wake up in the morning, drink a big cup of water and then drink the milled chia seeds and wait for at least one hour after that if I wanted to eat anything for breakfast. I actually don't feel hungry at all and only need to eat a small lunch portion. Even dinner doesn't seem to be so important!

Moving forward the next few days, I am going to eat one meal all vegetables in the evening for dinner. Yes I am moving up in my journey to eating healthier too. Unfortunately for me, I love food too much and have to take baby steps to make the change. Yes what to do? I am a true blue Malaysian! Give me my nasi lemak and curry meehoon anytime!
