FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup 2025 | The Groups

The 2025 U-17 Women’s World Cup to be held in Morocco is just a few hours away, and this article is to brief you on the various groups:

Group A: The group comprises the host Morocco, Brazil, Italy, and Costa Rica. Rating this group by the names, the potential big teams that will qualify from the group are Morocco and Brazil, but we can't write off Italy as well. Also, Morocco could be knocked out too. Anything is just possible. Did I just write off Costa Rica? Hey, this group is studded!

Group B: We have Korea DPR, Mexico, Cameroon, and the Netherlands. When it comes to women’s football, Korea is one of the big names. So yeah, they're ranked as the top favourite to top the group. Maybe because I'm an African, I would rate Cameroon to be tipped as second in this group.

Group C: We have the USA, Ecuador, China PR, and Norway. The USA should find it easy-peasy to scale through this group with either China PR or Norway. But there could be upsets too. So let's see how it goes.

Group D: We have Nigeria, Canada, France, and Samoa. Nigeria is rated as the favourite to top this group, there's no argument about that. France should follow and probably Canada as third. Samoa—no, I don't see them making it out of this group.

Group E: We have Spain, Colombia, Korea Republic, and Côte d’Ivoire. A very tricky group, but Spain is likely going to top this group, and the battle for who follows is between the three other countries.

Group F: We have Japan, New Zealand, Zambia, and Paraguay. Just as it’s arranged, Japan has an upper hand here, then followed by New Zealand and maybe Zambia.

The match kicks off later in the day with the game between Morocco, the host, and Brazil. It’s going to be a tense one.

Bye for now!
