WAFCON 2024 SEMI FINALS: Nigeria 🇳🇬 Vs South Africa 🇿🇦 | Morocco 🇲🇦 Vs Ghana 🇬🇭

Hello sports lovers! I bring you greetings from the world of female sports in Africa!

Today (22nd July 2025) is the semi-final match day in the ongoing WAFCON 2024 tournament being held in Morocco. We have four nations left, and the two winners tonight will be heading to the final to battle for who gets the trophy, while the two losers will proceed to play in the third-place match.

Below are the previews of the semi-final matches:

Nigeria Vs South Africa

In this match, the stakes are very high. It's so hard to predict who will emerge as the winner. The coach of South Africa has confidently come out to say that Nigeria will be a walkover for them because they know how to easily beat Nigeria. During the last WAFCON in 2022, South Africa actually beat Nigeria with 2 goals to 1 in their opening match. That has been the driving force behind the boastful remarks of the South African coach.

Well, I'm strongly supporting my team, Nigeria, to beat them as we’ve been doing in the past. This match is currently the talk of social media, and we've been all out in support and hype for our dear nation.

Morocco Vs Ghana

This is another blockbuster, and a lot of people, including me, have been rooting for Ghana to beat the host nation, Morocco, who have seemingly found their way easy in the tournament—especially with winning a penalty in all their matches so far. Well, maybe that’s a home advantage. Let’s see how things turn out tonight. The match is coming up at 8:00 PM (local time).
