New Zealand 🇳🇿 Vs Norway🇳🇴 [ 1:0 ]

Is it actually easy to win the host nation in the opener? That's what Norway wanted to do, they were ready to pull an upset or keep it to a tie but luck was found on the new Zealand's side and they found the back of the net. Match ended 1:0 in favor of New Zealand

Philippines🇵🇭 Vs Switzerland🇨🇭 [ 0:2 ]
Switzerland took a good advantage to book a firm ground to qualify from this group by thrashing 2 goals to the Philippines.

Australia🇳🇿 Vs Ireland🇮🇪 [ 1:0 ]

Who ever thought that the Ireland ladies could push a good battle with the maltidas, one of FIFA's favourites? No one!
The match ended in the Favour of Australia with just 1 goal, making them to top group B.

Nigeria🇳🇬 Canada🇨🇦 [ 0:0 ]

This match became one of the highly talked about matches when the Super Falcons goal keeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie bodly stopped Sinclair on a penalty. The Match ended goalless with both team sharing the points and hoping to win their next game to keep their hope of qualifying alive.

Spain🇪🇸 vs Costa Rica🇨🇷 [ 3:0 ]

The Spanish women took the bulk by the horn and blew a loud whistle announcing what they're set for in the tournament. 3 goals thrillers it was and Costa Rica need to win their next match to keep their hope alive.

Zambia🇿🇲 Vs Japan🇯🇵 [ 0:5 ]

Actually, I didn't see this coming.
I'm from Africa and I know how we make noise whenever an African team is playing. The Copper Queens have been on high spirit ever since they qualify to this tournament and especially their win on Germany on a friendly match. Little did we know that they were going to be humiliated like this. A whole 5 goals without a reply. Wtf! They need to do better.
Japan got their game planned and it worked out perfectly for them.

England🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 vs Haiti 🇭🇹 [ 1:0 ]
Were you expecting a debutant (Haiti) to win the almighty England? Of course, it was never impossible but hey!, The Haiti ladies gave a good fight with their goal keeper making 10 saves. The fact that the Match ended with just 1 goal is a good 'tell' on how it went. Unto the next match!

Denmark🇩🇰 vs Vs China RP🇨🇳 [ 1:0 ]
A big kudos to the Denmark ladies for taking a huge contending three points. China RP needs to win their next match by all means to stand a chance of surviving this group.

USA🇺🇸 vs Vietnam🇻🇳 [ 3:0 ]
I think the natural law of football came to play here, it's very unlikely for a newbie to beat the No. 1 in the world. The Usa ladies lived up to expectation here. three goals with no reply. Kudos!🙌

Netherlands🇳🇱 Vs Portugal🇵🇹 [ 1:0 ]
Even from the start, I knew it's very impossible to have the Portuguese beat the Netherlands. Naaa! Although they fought so hard but....it wasn't enough. They need to do better in their next match.

France🇫🇷 Vs Jamaica🇯🇲 [ 0:0 ]

This match delivered to its expectation. Although the Reggae Girls have not recorded any win in the Fifawwc but their current form this season made them a matching team to be France ladies especially with the Manchester City goal machine, Shaw which saw a red card during the match. They both shared the points and hoping to win their next matches.

Brazil🇧🇷 vs Panama🇵🇦 [ 4:0 ]
Yo! The first hat trick of the tournament popped out from here with brogs recording 3 brilliant goals. I saw her shed tears after scoring her first Fifawwc goal.
Panama qualifying fate is being shaken after receiving 4 goals on their opener without a reply. Their next matches....Oh God!

Sweden🇸🇪 Vs South Africa🇿🇦 [ 2:1 ]
You saw the first goal by the Banyana Banyana? Wow! They almost almost won the match until a goal that looked like a own goal came and another one in the 90th minute. Sweden took the whole three points here and South Africa need to win their next match.

Italy🇮🇹 Vs Argentina🇦🇷 [ 1:0 ]
A big battle that ended 1-nill in favour of the Italian Ladies. Any hope for the Argentina? Yes, if they win their next match.

Germany🇩🇪 Vs Morocco🇲🇦 [ 6:0 ]
In my country, Nigeria, what happened between Germany and Morocco is what we call 'wotowoto' (highest order of disgrace). Well, the Lioness need to go for a revival and bounce back if they want to come out of this group alive.

Colombia🇨🇴 Vs South Korea🇰🇷 [ 2:0 ]
Although I didn't expect Colombia to win, I expected a draw match due to the matching forms of both teams but it is what it is. Linda, the magical girl recorded herself with a goal.
