Love story 💔

Regarding the ongoing contest in this community (The Comedy Club), I have had one person in mind to write about. However, when I woke up this morning, things took a sudden U-turn, and I am still surprised at how everything played out. I am sure it is God’s doing, because I would have landed myself in police custody if things had gone differently.

This person and I have not talked outside this Hive, which means we do not have any connection beyond here, unlike many other people I interact with. We only exchanged conversations once or twice about a particular interest, which, for me, is a huge score whenever I am about to fall for someone. She is into sports, and she plays football. Yoh! I can do anything for a female that plays football. I can even sell my father’s property to sponsor her to Europe.

Like I said earlier, I had already planned to write about the moment we met on Hive as my entry to the contest and hopefully win a spot, then give her the little prize attached to the contest. But when I woke up this morning, I decided to search for her name because I was confused about how exactly it was written. While doing so, the post my hand mistakenly touched when her name appeared, was one where she talked about her love life. To my greatest surprise, she is married, and not just married, but married to someone who lives abroad.

Like, who am I to shoot my shot at someone who is married to a man living overseas? That is "bastard" money involved. I could be arrested by foreign police, especially now that Trump’s armies are already in Nigeria.

However, while I was reading the post, it looked like a fictional story. I wanted to believe it was fiction because the words were so well arranged, with so many love pickup lines presented in a poetic manner while she was confessing love. I skipped many parts and went straight to the ending, expecting to see, "This is a fictional story." But hey, nothing like that was written.

She is actually married, and with this new discovery, I might have to place my compass in another direction. Lol
