Most memorable experience in Physical Education

During secondary school, it was Physical and HEALTH Education, and this happened to be the easiest subject because the syllabus was on repeat all through the various classes, plus the fact that the only teacher that taught us knew the subject very well and had a very sweet handwriting.

We didn't do more practicals; we were just on the theory aspect, and we understood the various sports very well because the teacher explained them with good illustration s. Till today, I can sketch out the accurate dimensions of some of the pitches, such as the football pitch, volleyball pitch, and basketball pitch.

When I got to a higher institution, I met the course as a borrowed course; it was just Physical Education, which I smiled at because I have a very good knowledge of it from secondary school, but little did I know that higher institution is far different.

Memorable experience
We just resumed school and the lecturer in charge of Physical Education, a pregnant woman, mandated that we must all be involved with the practical and we must buy sportswear, and it must be from her sales; that is to say, if we buy outside, our names won't be in her records, which means carryover (failure).

We took it as a joke, but this woman took it very personal and said anyone who purchases, earns 20 marks in the course
Meanwhile, the price at which she sold her was two times higher what it's sold outside the school.

Omo!

The rich kids in the class began to buy, not minding the high amount.
Some of us found it so difficult to pay up because we just started school and there were a lot of dues to pay and money was nowhere to be found; hence, we got pushed to the corner.

Practical Day got announced, and she emphasised that anybody who didn't buy from her should not bother to come.

What kind of wickedness is this? I cried out helplessly.

I began to wonder why a pregnant woman(yes, she's pregnant) can be so inconsiderate. She just wants to make money; that's all she knows.

After missing some practical classes because I wasn't in uniform, I decided to pay up in order not to fail her course, and then I experienced the worst.
I paid, and my name got enlisted in the records, but getting the sportswear I paid for became a problem.
It was the class captain that was in charge of receiving payment and distribution of the wear, so I met him, and he gave me the normal reply: "I will see to it."
When nothing was forthcoming regarding receiving the material, I made the move to go meet the lecturer directly, and on that day, news came that she had been put to bed.
To be sincere, I wasn't happy, even though I was supposed to celebrate with those that are celebrating. I was so pained by how I was cheated by both the class captain and the lecturer.
Until I graduated from the class, I never got the sportswear I paid for
Thank God I passed the course.

My most memorable moment with PE happens to be a sad one.

Thanks for reading.

That is not very nice.

Some lectures are just overusing their power, because they are just in power.

I’m glad to hear that you were cheated. I believe she later fail those who didn’t pay.

It is me or pregnant teachers are also wicked. hehe.

Let me pick it from the last one

It is me or pregnant teachers are also wicked

From what I've seen, I think there's a general feature that runs in the bloodstream of pregnant lecturers. They over do this wickedness when they're pregnant. Maybe that's what the baby wants at that period 😂.

Thank you dear

I'm sad that you went through bad times, surely while we are children we just want to have happy memories.

But we always have to try to see something good in a bad experience, surely you now value companionship and rights for everyone and will fight for it

Yes bro.
Although it was painful at that moment I couldn't get what I paid for but as for now, it's all in the past and I was smiling all through when I was writing this.
What doesn't kill us, makes us stronger.
