Hi friends on Hive. Happy Sunday to you. I hope the weekend is going right fine on your end. Year 2023 is a year for investment and I am ready for it. We've been setting goals in the first week and I am happy to start actualizing the goals in the second week.

Who would have thought a learner would become an investor in so short a time? This is just my story in the hive blockchain and particularly within the splinterlands community.

From a paid learner to a investor

I started Hive in December 2021 and all I could do was share my pictures daily on Hive until when I read a post from @clove71 titled "earn crypto blogging about Splinterlands. That was when I took a decision to get more serious on Hive and splinterlands.

I have learned and grown in learning, shard many posts on my thoughts about the splinterlands game and other related projects. I ventured into investing a part of my post rewards, first into SPS and then leaped into the new Splinterlands sports gaming platform.

Genesis League sports is a gaming platform created by the creators of splinterlands game to host several sports games. This will be the biggest sports hub in the hive blockchain to my awareness in terms of delivery and asset value.

I am happy to see my investment in the Genesis League sports grow everyday to great heights. My latest activity was the claiming of 33.4 GLX and buying of 108.9 more GLX. I stake a total of 143.255 GLX and that brings my total stake to 600.43.

This is where I am now. 600 GLX stake milestone. Great ride for me to behold. Attaining this at the beginning of the year signals a great year ahead.

My 143 GLX staked was worth 15 Hive (4$) and I hope to do more in the future.

600 GLX stake milestone in January is a good start. I hope to reach 1,000 GLX stake by the end of January. Adding 500 GLX to my stake each month is the goal.

In a few weeks, I will start buying the Genesis League Goals packs so that I can participate in he game when it goes live.
