Hello my friends, how are you doing?

As most of you know Greece is one of the hottest Summer destinations and there is a good reason behind that.
Beautiful beaches, sun and welcoming people is a mix you can't find in many places around the globe.
I am lucky enough to live in an area called "Epirous" which is only a 2 hours drive away from some of the most amazing beaches and islands thoughout the country.
In this blog I am gonna share with you my camping trip adventures at "Marmari" beach located at "Paxos" island.

"Paksos" island is one of the smallest Ionian Sea islands and you can get there either by boat from "Igoumenitsa" or "Corfu".

Our destination in "Paksos" was "Marmari" beach located right next to "Loggos" village. Me and the homies love camping and free camping is illegal in Greece (what a shame). The first image we saw when we arrived at the beach was 10 cops harassing campers and threatening them with fines (300E/tent).

Eventually the police left and we started chatting with other campers about this incident. They told us that this is a common thing at this beach.
We didn't want to go back to "Ioannina" so we decided to take the risk and set up our tents. Our choise was the right one! Not even a single cop came during our stay but enough chit-chat.
Let me show you where we spent our week.

There were over 100 olive trees just above the beach which makes it the ideal place to set up your tent. Natural shade is the best! As you can see there were many campers before us. Actually there were more than 30 tents scattered all around. Lucky for us, most of them were chill and friendly cause we really hate loud-mouthed "neighbours". Camping vacation is all about relaxing. If I want to party I'll just go to a party.

The beach is pebbly and the waters are crystal clear. They have this unique tirquise color and you could see all the way down to the ocean floor.

The beach was quit busy the morning hours so we did a little bit of exploring and found this "private" bay.
This is where we spent most of our mornings!

Our only problem was carrying our stuff! Hehehe!
There were 2 choises. Either by sea or by climbing. Our most common route was to move the cooler filled with beers and food by sea cause it was floating and our towels etc from the trail!

This was the view we enjoyed every morning.

The rock at the background was my favorite spot to chill! Give me some cold beers and I could site there all day. The only thing I could hear was the sound of the sea.

These were the best Summer vacations ever. Too bad that we can no longer go spend some days there. You see the field above the beach was sold (classic) and it's now private property. Slowly but steadily all beaches in Greece are rented to individuals so they can build hotels and beach bars.
I find this disgusting and I find even more disgusting that people are not doing anything to change that.

Nature belongs to all of us and camping in nature is everyone's right. I sleep in 4 walls all year long so no thank you, I do not want to rent a room. Even if I had 1 Million Euros to spend for my Summer vacation I would still pick free camping.

Thank you all for reading and supporting me my friends.
Much love to everyone and stay safe.

Damn that sucks man, this is what the world is coming to. Part of the reason this virus was created was to economically destroy places so they are forced to sell things like land to stay afloat. It’s on agenda 2030 to not let people enjoy beautiful public places like this. Keep people in cities, corralled and in fear. Plus beaches like that give you massive amounts of healthy vitamin D being in the sun for hours. Can’t have people being healthy now can you?!

Regardless, beautiful pictures man, so nice to have places like that even exist!

I know right? It sucks man and most people won't realise what's gonna happen until it's too late.
I have visited dozens of beaches but this one unique.

It was f*cking awesome Nick! Too bad I can't visit again.
Stupid governments think they own every inch of land.
Fuck them.
