Sudtirol took an important step towards the Serie B playoff final by beating Bari 1-0 in the first semi-final played yesterday at the 'Druso'. Today, on the other hand, the second semi-final between Cagliari and Parma will be played. The first leg will be played at 8.30 pm at the 'Unipol Domus', Cagliari's stadium. The return leg will be played on Saturday 3 June at the 'Tardini', Parma's stadium. These matches are very important because they will determine who will face each other in the playoff final. The winner of the final will be promoted to Serie A along with Frosinone and Genoa, who have already obtained direct promotion. How will the teams play? Sudtirol has proven to be a solid and organized team, capable of defending well and taking advantage of goal opportunities. Bari, on the other hand, paid for their lack of scoring ability and lack of clarity in the final stages. Cagliari and Parma are two very balanced and offensive teams. Open and spectacular challenges are expected. Who will win? It is difficult to make a prediction, but in my opinion Sudtirol has a good chance of reaching the final, having already a one-goal advantage over Bari, while Bari can count on home advantage in the return leg. Between Cagliari and Parma, on the other hand, I believe everything is in balance and that a single episode or play could decide.
In conclusion, these Serie B playoffs are very exciting and we can't wait to find out who will advance to the final. My personal opinion is that both matches will be very hard-fought and there is no clear favourite.
