Another Unfortunate Night for Tottenham

Another night of disappointment for both Tottenham and their fans as they squandered another lead and tilt in the second half. I can't say they've been much dismal in the second half but I can say part of it is because they're unlucky.

They had a great goal from Harry Kane even though faced in a tough and unbalanced situation. If you'll look at it even in the highlights, you'll be amazed how he managed to get that goal thanks to a perfect chip from Son Heung-min. The visitors celebrated the goal and kept that lead in the first half.

Second-half started just like the first, full pressure as always. Imagine, there are 29 fouls accumulated overall. I can see the pressure for both teams fighting for the possession and defending. Just when Ricardo received a pass and didn't miss the opportunity to score for the equalizer.

As the end of regulation is getting near and both teams are likely to expect a share of point in King Power Stadium, I great outside shot from James Madisson on the 85th minute perfectly placed in the middle right shocked Tottenham - again and again.

I believe aside from the defensive lapses the club is doing (especially in the center-back positions), I think there's some unluckiness over there. I'm really sad for Hotspurs because I believe they played better this night. However, there are times that you are just unlucky.

They'll be facing Southampton in their next Premier League match on Saturday, September 28, 2019 in front of their fans which I'm pretty sure have been disappointed with the results. Though Leicester City still a great club that you can't be comfortable of, they can't just miss Southampton.

Something does seem to be up at Tottenham on the whole. They should be the best team outside the top 2. But because this followed the Olympiacos game where Spurs should have won comfortably something may very well be wrong at Tottenham. Leicester are the best team outside the big 6 though to be fair. What's been going on with Dele and Eriksen?
